With the recent movement towards high efficiency wood stoves in the marketplace, as well as the recent 30% tax credit offered by the federal government, we have just introduced the Kuma stove line. We are dealers of this high quality “made in America” line from Idaho. Of particular note, burning wood as a source of heat, generally represents a neutral carbon cycle, in stark contrast to oil, natural gas, and coal. It is also a great secondary heat source to electric powered heat pump systems.

This may be a way to perform some solar harvesting in the winter, increase light into the home, or more robustly provide a year round system for plants and/or agricultural purposes. These units can installed as additions or free standing units.

In recent years, many homeowners have had to endure water restrictions imposed by dwindling water resources and resultant municipal restrictions. According to the experts there is little relief in sight. At best we are in for significant swings in water from the skies. In general, collecting roof water can help reduce or eliminate water intrusion into the building as well as provide inventory for future outside water use. Such water is free and the homeowner is free to dispense despite municipal restrictions. We’ll do the design and the math- as well as the installation. We have all the necessary equipment in house.
